ExitYear does not collect, transmit, store, or sell your financial data. All computations run locally in your browser using client-side JavaScript. There are no user accounts, no backend databases, and no tracking cookies.

Your financial assumptions and account balances are stored exclusively in your browser's local storage (localStorage) on your current device.

• Data persists between sessions on your current browser for convenience.
• Clearing your browser cache or site data removes your stored plan completely.
• You can export your complete financial plan as a local JSON file at any time to back it up or transfer it between devices.
• No server receives your plan data when you save, calculate, or export.

ExitYear is intentionally built without invasive tracking scripts or marketing pixels.

• No advertising tracking scripts or behavioral recording tools are loaded.
• Outbound links to partner tools may contain affiliate referral tags so partner networks can attribute referrers.
• These outbound links open directly in new tabs with standard security headers (rel="noopener sponsored noreferrer").
